LOCATION: Uxbridge based office with good transport links and parking
SALARY: £27,000pa
HOURS: 40 hours per week, 08:00 -17:00 working day with an hour for breaks.
Flex-time hours, working around core hours and hybrid working
28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays) increasing by one day per year to a maximum of 25 days plus bank holidays after one full years’ service

About the role:
You will be responsible for the purchasing of external branded product. You will understand the competitive landscape in promotional activity, knowing the main competitors and bringing knowledge, opportunities, and risks back to the business on a regular basis through trade so you will always be clear on the stock levels required to deliver the budget. Working closely and collaboratively with the merchandising team, you will make commercial decisions and suggestions about future seasonal plans as well as supporting the creation of a pricing strategy to optimise margin.
You will monitor returning products and through your knowledge of the budget for full price and clearance product, you will investigate and report back on issues and actions to mitigate those returns.
You will demonstrate a strong commercial awareness and be responsible for tracking competitor activity of branded product and share that knowledge with the trading team.
You will also be responsible for how external brands are represented on the website ensuring the integrity of each brand is maintained while building and maintaining good relationships with all external brand suppliers to ensure communication is clear and Brastop is the exit strategy of choice.
You will also be responsible for Purchase Order management processes, and ensure all products are created in the system accurately to place purchase orders, for all brands and in a timely manner as well as ensuring branded supplier manual are kept up to date and that all brands comply to Brastop requirements.

About you:
You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a fashion buying and merchandising department
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent
You are a rising star, that can take full ownership of the branded buying category.
You will have good interpersonal skills and have experience of negotiating as a clear communicator, one that can confidently deliver information to a senior level,
You will demonstrate a passion for lingerie and trends.
This job role will focus heavily on building and maintaining good relationships with suppliers both UK based and abroad.
Essential Skills -
- 3 Years in a fashion buying and merchandising department.
- Good judgement and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong organisation skills
- Computer literate and able to adapt to new systems quickly and efficiently
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail
- Ability to make decisions quickly and confidently
Desirable but not essential -
- Netsuite and Shopify experience desirable but not essential

£27,000 Salary
