Does your lingerie drawer look like it’s been attending a particularly wild party every time it gets opened? Not only does this make it extremely difficult to rummage for a matching set in a bleary-eyed morning, but a haphazard way of storing your bras could actually shorten their lifespan!
Luckily we’ve provided this set of storage solutions to solve all your lingerie-organising woes and to give your bras the support that they deserve on their days off!

  • Storing bras in the drawer
  • In the Drawer

When you’re organising your lingerie drawer, padded, push-up and moulded cup bras are the ones that need to be treated with the most TLC.

If you’re squashing or folding one moulded cup into the other to store this type of bra, then it’s imperative that this stops as soon as possible, since this destroys the fibres of the moulding, causing them to become misshapen and bumpy, which is definitely not a good look!

Instead, stack your padded bras inside one another so that each individual cup keeps its shape on the one behind it.  The unlucky bra at the back of the drawer can be stuffed with knickers or socks so that it’s getting the same treatment as the others.

As another top tip, Brastop recommends that you keep all of your bra hooks fastened before placing them into the drawer as this stops them from snagging on lace or mesh from another part of your prized lingerie collection. To further reduce the chances of this happening, consider investing in drawer organisers or dividers which also provide you with the added benefit of being able to select your favourite lingerie set with just a quick glance!

  • On Hangers

    Thinking outside the box, literally!

Storing your bras on hangers is actually a brilliant idea if drawer space is at a premium in your bedroom. Using one hanger with a rail along the bottom of it, multiple bras can be hung by their centre gore, with the straps folded into the centre.

Just make sure that padded cups are not being squashed against other items of clothing if you go for this method! For a storage solution that looks even cooler, try multiple hangers (which need to have grooves at the side to stop bra straps from falling off) hooked underneath one another.

This way, you have, not only, an incredibly cool bra display, but also it’s the perfect way to free up space!
