We’re reflecting on a lot as 2017 leaves us and we step into 2018. This year has been great for females, with so many fierce and fabulous celebrities standing up for what they believe in, and being totally inspirational to so many of us. Here are some of our fave ladies of 2017!
Love her or hate her, there’s no denying that she’s got power and influence, and underneath it all has a heart of gold. From buying a house for a fan, to making a powerful statement by suing her sexual harasser for only $1 – TayTay is a role model for many young women in the world today.

2017 has been a great year for Miley – she’s gone back to her country roots and gave us an important lesson in the meantime: no one stays the same, and that’s okay. Growing, changing and adapting are all parts of life, but you should never regret anything about who you were previously.
I heard my body is a topic of conversation so I wanted to say, I’m proud of my body and you should be proud of yours too. No matter who you are or what you do. I could give you a million reasons why you don’t need to cater to anyone or anything to succeed. Be you, and be relentlessly you. Using her fame to champion gender equality, Emma Waston is the feminist that the world needs more of. From taking part in women’s marches to leaving feminist books on the tube as part of her book club, she continuously supports women and speaks out against sexism and racism. A true heroine!
Who run the world? Girls! Queen Bey made headlines this year with her pregnancy announcement, and her performance at the Grammys was nothing short of incredible. With an all-female dance crew and strong lyrics, she reminds us that the future is female. Yasss, queen!
