So what’s your number?

What's your number?

UK women only ever wear one in every five bras they own, meaning only 20% of their lingerie wardrobe ever sees the light of day. A Brastop survey revealed that the average female will own 20 bras at any given time but only wear four with the most common explanation due to fit relating problems.

When was the last time you’ve spring cleaned your lingerie drawer? With spring right around the corner I would highly recommend it! I had a spring clean recently and found that out of the many bras I own (well over 30 from my favourite brands including  Curvy Kate bras, Freya bras and Fantasie bras), I only ever wear six! My biggest reason does have to do with fit related problems but mostly because my size keeps getting bigger and bigger and just needed more big bras!

In the last five years I went from a size 28F to 30GG verging on H. Having said that I have given some of
my bras to charity or friends, but there’s still a few that I found hard to part with. My very first bra was 32DD and the wrong size completely – I try it on every now and then for a laugh to remind myself of my mission to get every female fitted.

So what’s your number? Mine is 30/6! How many do you own versus how many you actually wear?

We’d like to know… so get started and have some fun, you’ll be surprise how much fun I had trying on ones I haven’t worn in a while!

12/7 I rotate through them, using some for different parts of my cycle because I have 4 different styles :)

I own 3, wear 3. One clean, one on, one in the wash.

Being allergic to polyester and nylon makes it impossible to find a decent bra, especially with the size I need. I wish I could say I had more!

I own about 20 and I only wear five of them. The others all failed the fit test and I have yet to find them new homes… *sigh*

Until recently I had 3 and wore 3 given the limited availability and cost for a 34HH in the general shops, however since I’ve found Brastop I now have 10 and wear them all depending on mood and occasion along with lovely matching undies too,I honestly feel so much more feminine and less frumpy now.Oh joy of joys.
